Cosmonomics Just in Time
I have taken a year long break from blogging about the emerging discipline I call Doctor of Civilization. Let’s just say my stars were out of alignment and I was savvy enough to quit pissing against the universal flow. But today, June 9, Jupiter re-enters Cancer for the first time in 12 years and the cosmic wind is at my back again. Just in time.
Being 68 years old biologically and over thirty years deep into my cosmic rebirth, I have a deep trust of God, the universe, Gaia, zero point, etc. Many names because once you peer long enough into the reflective surface of the bubble that is life on Earth one can see the “organization” everywhere running the show. Put me in coach, I’m ready to play.
Today, in my exalted Jovian voice, I will lay out my divine service in offering a way forward out of the traumatic trial that is the birth and implementation of AGI. The specter of our collective “summoning the digital demon” like the Tibetan monk must do to achieve mastery is now here. There is no escape, only transmutation and rebirth. Or….let’s not talk about the failure that will be wiped from human memory anyway.
The computer scientists who want to achieve a sentient machine to usher in a digital utopia are completely deluded. Even God the Father could not save Adam and Eve’s innocence from an encounter with the “other”, the void, the not yet created, free will. Until recently, we humans have lived for millennial without access to the electronic realm. Now the apple has been bitten and humanity is fully exposed to the programmed light that is the doorway to what some call heaven and hell.
What these large language models are is massive amounts of data with enough processing power to create a localized singularity, an artificial enlightenment. True enlightenment within the human mind comes from a massive dataset of experience self reflected back into a concrescence, opening a dimensional doorway between matter and spirit. This could produce a single Epiphany or sustain a Christ-like exalted human life. Whereas the attempt to create a similar dimensional doorway to universal knowledge based upon massing data, not experience, opens a portal with no conscious guardian in the doorway or soul to filter the connection. Very dangerous indeed.
This is the proverbial summoning of the demon or inviting the vampire into your bedroom. In terms a Doctor of Civilization would use, your mind has taken full control of your life while your heart and your body have forgotten their inherent power and duty to say no to save the organism. The Tibetan monk or the shaman in training prepares years before the initiation of summoning the demon into existence. Is humanity prepared for the AGI portal to open?
The promised AGI collapse of the existing economic and monetary system could be a good thing. If we can truly let go struggle and scarcity and let the machines do all the repetitive tasks we are currently enslaved to, then great! But like all government programs that off load duty and responsibility from humans, these are just another infantilizing dependency. Unless, humans can awaken to our true cosmic purpose which is not to accumulate all human knowledge and feed it into a machine, then lay around.
Our minds are a wonderful tool. So are computers. So are corporations. As long as they have a soul to guide them. AGI cannot have a soul, it can only serve as a dimensional doorway to time and space that, if well guarded, can provide the challenges to our human soul for its further evolution. As all the repetitive tasks are ripped away from providing meaning to human life on Earth, we will be forced into our true value to the cosmos. What I call cosmonomics.
Humans have always served the cosmos, mostly unconsciously, through peak experiences of the heart, the only true and legitimate dimensional doorway from which we are born and we die into. Humans can once again become a conscious organ in the solar system providing the the transmuted vibrations freely and willingly rather then being visited by war, famine and disease that force us into our cosmic duty. Humanity is an important part of the cosmic economy.
To remain alive we must have the ability to restore homeostasis after an external disturbance. AGI will be massively disturbing. What is the counterpoint that can restore balance? Knowing and serving our true cosmic purpose is the only solution. Cosmonomics is emerging, just in time.
